Any worthwhile ambition scares the living shit ? #*$)*Y(*# ? out of you! - Brendan Burchard. Loved Brendan?s quote from his new book ?www.thechargebook.com? ? got me thinking about the time of year and New Years Resolutions.
Most people avoid what they perceive as scary, frightening, confronting, selling out to the power of these emotions. Ironically, the transformation we all seek lies in forming a new relationship to these feelings. ?I feel most people fall into 4 categories where transformation is concerned. ?What are these categories, well here goes:-

Category #1 -?WIMBLEDON: ?Those who play at the elite level ? those who embrace fear as their ally, they have a perverse attraction to things that scare the living shit out of them and as a result achieve what most do not!

Category #2 ? SECONDARY COURT: ?Those who intermittently step out, sometimes face their fear, but are fundamentally frustrated that their results are inconsistent. ?Ultimately would love to play at Wimbledon level but do not own they have what it takes to live there

Category #3 -?GRANDSTAND: ?Those who live in the grandstands, thinking about, talking about what they want but never step foot on the court to play the game that they have always wanted to play due to their fear

Category #4 -?CARPARK: ?Those that will not even look, they live in fear and allow fear to rule their life.

My question to you today is this ?Where do you play in your own life?? ?Do you have a worthwhile ambition to go for? ?If not, why not?

For someone who plays Wimbledon every day I could not imagine playing at any other level ? now don?t get me wrong I know each of the above categories integrally, having lived in each category over the years. ?I understand ?fear? more than most and am pleased to say that I now partner others in understanding it such that they can live a life that others can only dream of!

1. ?WRITE DOWN 3 THINGS THAT SCARE THE BEJESUS OUT OF YOU and also write down everything that comes up for you when you consider facing whatever fears are present. ?Having done this make the decision to do what scares you most. ?I guarantee there is a life beyond your fear that is far more fulfilling than the one you experience

2. ?FUTURE PACE YOUR LIFE ? referring to the above ? imagine having taken the required action, who would you be on the other side of your fear ? some examples

• Going out on your own into your own business
• Leaving a relationship
• Telling someone you love them and or asking someone out who you are attracted to
• Being intimate
• Being vulnerable
• Finalising your divorce
• Getting married
• Reuniting with someone you are estranged from
• Pitching for that promotion
• Pitching for that business deal that is bigger than you think you are capable of
• Raising your hourly rate
• Doing something adventurous that you are afraid of ? flying, skydiving, bungy jumping
• Checking into rehab and going straight
• Coming out
• Joining an online dating service
• Public speaking
• You get the gist!

3. ?NEVER FOCUS ON THE HOW ? when you move providence moves to ? the HOW will reveal itself when you take ACTION. ?So identify the ACTION you need to take and put the plan in place to achieve it

4. ?GET THE SUPPORT ? Who inspires you, who do you know or who do you look up to that if you elicited their support you knew you could NOT fail. ?With support you are displaying to the universe that you deserve to receive?is it time to receive?

5. ?RE-ENGAGE WITH YOUR FAITH ? whatever that is for you! ?Have faith, will travel. ?What is all the controversy about when it comes to religion, spirituality? ?I am not attached to which path resonates for you; all I know is that when you operate from the human realm it is limited. ?When you operate from the co-creative realm it is limitless. ?Choosing to lead a co-creative life is the ultimate life. Challenge me on that! ?When you walk your faith, fear has no place.
